Omni Partners, the London-based fund manager, has simultaneously announced both the launch and first closing of its third secured lending fund on approximately $60 million.
Non-bank lenders recorded 242 deals in the UK and mainland Europe in the whole of 2015, according to the latest figures from Deloitteโ€™s Alternative Lender Deal Tracker. This represented a 9 percent increase on the 222 deals logged during 2014.

Indian developer Sobha Group and investment manager RootCorp have launched a new fund targeting real estate assets, development debt and project equity in India. The India Debt and Yield Opportunities Fund is aiming to raise $300m and will target a return of 20%.
ICG-Longbowโ€™s senior UK debt fund has reported profits after tax of ยฃ7.6m for the year ended 31 January 2015, up from ยฃ1.4m the previous year. ICG-Longbow Senior Secured UK Property Debt Investments has invested in 11 loans totalling ยฃ104m. Last year it loaned ยฃ8m on Ramada Gateshead and ยฃ10m on Lanos (York Hotel), completing its initial investment programme.
Aviva Investors real estate multi-manager has invested in TH Real Estateโ€™s debut property debt fund, the UK Enhanced Debt fund.
